DO-IT-YOURSELF - spirit magnets

Materials:

Instructions:

  1. Search through magazines for small images. Move your flat marbles around the pages to help you find them. Look for things like mascots, team colors, cheer words, megaphones, cheerleaders, etc.

  2. Trace a circle around the images (the same diameter as your magnets) and cut them out.

  3. Place a small dot of glue on one side of the magnet. Spread the glue into a thin layer using a toothpick.

  4. Place one of the images on top of the glue. Let dry.

  5. Place a small dot of glue on top of the image that is glued to the magnet. Carefully spread the glue into a thin layer using a toothpick.

  6. Place a marble directly down on the image. Firmly push the magnet and marble together.

  7. Let the magnets dry completely before using.

  8. Also try using photographs instead of magazines!
