Step-Lock to Shoulder Sit with Back Dismount
How to:
Follow the Step-Lock Instructions with the following additions:
Base: After flyer is in Step-Lock position and is swinging leg around shoulder, reach up and grasp top of flyer's thigh, move other hand to thigh. Stand up. If necessary, adjust flyer in a more comfortable position by "popping" slightly.
Flyer: Once in Step-Lock position, swing leg around base's shoulders and sit, wrapping both feet behind base's back and locking into position, pulling ankles into base. Keep upper body sitting up tall.
Backspot: Begin with hands on flyer's waist/hips. Dip with base and assist flyer up. Keep holding on to flyer's waist/hips
NOTE: Base can lunge on either leg. Flyer would also switch feet accordingly
Back Dismount:
Base: Tap on one of the flyer's leg, signaling her to release foot. Reach under flyer's thigh and grasp hand. Repeat for other side. On count, dip with legs and bring hands straight back next to head, while absorbing weight with legs.
Flyer: Grasp base's hands one at a time, locking elbows and keeping toes pointed forward.
Backspot: Keeping hands on flyer's waist/hips, dip and resist flyer's weight down to the ground.
